Space Coast Area Transit is here to help students and young people get around Brevard County. We offer convenient transportation to popular spots like colleges, libraries, beaches, malls, and more. Eastern Florida State College students can ride for free with a current student ID sticker. Plus, kids 18 and under can ride free all summer through the Read to Ride Program. With affordable fares and easy access to your favorite places, getting around has never been easier!

1. What bus routes serve the Eastern Florida State College campuses?

The routes are: Titusville Campus – Route 5, Cocoa Campus – Route 6, Melbourne Campus – Routes 28 and 29, Palm Bay Campus – Route 23. See all Routes here.

 

2. How much is the fare for other students and youth?

Students who don't attend EFSC ride at a reduced fare of 75¢. There's also a Reduced Fare 30-Day Pass available for $21.00. Kids under 5 ride free!

3. Are there any special routes with no fare for Melbourne residents?

Yes! Thanks to a grant from the City of Melbourne, there's no fare on Routes 21, 24, and 29 for Melbourne residents with a valid ID riding within the city limits. See all Routes here.

 

4. What is the Read to Ride Program?

The Read to Ride Program allows youth 18 and under to ride for free all summer by showing their Brevard County Library Card.

 

5. How can Eastern Florida State College students ride for free?

EFSC students can ride for free by showing a current sticker on their valid student ID. Visit the EFSC Campus Security Office to get your sticker.

EASTERN FLORIDA STATE COLLEGE STUDENTS RIDE FREE

EFSC Student IDGetting into college is hard enough. Fortunately, finding a parking space is no longer a requirement. Eastern Florida State College students ride for free, any day, any time, anywhere, just by showing a current sticker on a valid Eastern Florida State College student ID.  To get a current sticker, visit the E.F.S.C. Moving Brevard Into The Future

Bus and Trolley routes operate on a set schedule at designated stops, providing extensive coverage throughout the cities within Brevard County as well as unincorporated areas. All transit buses and trolleys are equipped with wheelchair lifts and bike racks. Surfboards are allowed inside the bus/trolley, based on space availability.
