Vanpool Program

Vanpool Program

van leaving office buildingVanpooling is a great way to save time and money on your commute to work, and there’s no better place in the country to vanpool than Brevard County! For more than 25 years, Space Coast Area Transit and Commute With Enterprise has offered a wide variety of vans and programs to fit the needs of our community.

THERE’S A BETTER WAY TO GET TO WORK!

The commuter vanpool program is for working professionals who have long daily commutes and could benefit from sharing those expenses. A group of 7-15 people lease a van from Commute With Enterprise at a fixed monthly cost that covers the lease payment, maintenance, roadside assistance, and insurance.  Riding together adds up to more savings, less pollution and valuable time back in your day. Commute With Enterprise makes it easy – helping you assemble your crew and providing the vehicle

Commute With Enterprise creates innovative solutions for a rapidly growing workforce, helping companies launch a tailored vanpool program. Eliminate onsite parking problems or the need for new parking lot development by reducing solo commuting. Now, companies can reinvest their infrastructure savings in its people and continue to grow!

Commute With Enterprise joined forces with a leading global energy company to help drive large-scale sustainability goals. In close collaboration with the company’s sustainability officers, Enterprise helped launch a socially and environmentally responsible vanpool program tailored to the company’s goals and processes.

To recruit and retain top talent, Commute with Enterprise works closely with Human Resource departments. Additionally, employers may provide employees with tax free vanpool and transit benefits. There are currently over 45 commuter vans on the road, with the majority traveling to the Viera VA Clinic and Kennedy Space Center. For convenience, many passengers meet at centralized Park & Ride Lots.

AGENCY VANPOOL PROGRAM SERVES BREVARD’S NON-PROFITS

van arriving at facilitySpace Coast Area Transit and Commute With Enterprise developed the Agency Vanpool Program to benefit the disadvantaged residents of Brevard and strengthen the community at large. Before Commute With Enterprise, the cost of insuring and operating a van was not feasible for many human services agencies, due to their limited budgets. Transporting the mobility disadvantaged is now simple and affordable for organizations such as Brevard Alzheimer’s, Bridges, and the Space Coast Center for Independent Living, who lease vans—which include insurance and maintenance—through Commute With Enterprise.  Currently, 19 agencies have been provided vans through this cost-saving program.
